Hi, I'm Leslie Sessums.

I'm a southern girl at heart, born and raised in north-central Arkansas but the last several years have been spent living in different areas of the country. I spent 2.5 years in Kansas City, 1.5 years in Atlanta, 4.5 years in Dallas and finally back home to Arkansas.

I always refer to myself as "The Accidental Photographer". I didn't set out to be a photographer, it just happened. I love photos and feel the need to document everything in this beautiful life. People started asking if I would shoot photos for them and I just kept saying yes. That was 17+ years ago.

I've shot just about every style of photography imaginable. From seniors, engagements, boudoirs, weddings, maternity, labor and delivery, newborns, children and families to travel, sports, macro, nature, wildlife, every kind of -scape possible, etc.

When I'm not working with clients, I love to share my passion for Jesus and music in leading worship. I've had the pleasure of being trusted to lead worship in many different places throughout all our moves around the country.

I'm also a bit of a wanderer. I love to travel. I spend time researching and learning everything there is to know about an area, so I don't miss a thing. With my camera in hand, I'm a brave explorer.

Happiness Hour

I had the pleasure of being the guest speaker on the Happiness Hour with Linda Nickell. I got to share some of my work and a little about how I became a photographer and the method to my madness behind how I shoot and edit.

“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.”
